Christmas Day in Portland

Christmas morning....

The grown-up loved her presents as much as she did....

Trudy's getting "fresh" with the bird. Turkey was a requirement since the Foxes all spent Thanksgiving in Hawaii. Poor Foxes!!

Emerson's gift from Santa....mommy's dolly cradle when she was a little girl. Why put your dolly in it...I fit just a well!

Courtney got an early gift from Santa...a tonsillectomy! Mashed potatoes were the perfect meal for her poor throat.

Christmas Eve

Started with a big yummy breakfast of eggs & sausage...her favorite! We soon learned that doughnuts are her favorite...or "dados" in her language.

Trying very hard to be quiet during gramma's Christmas Eve performance....hard to do!

Opening her Christmas jammies

The Fox men feeding her cheesecake...

Hi T-T!!!!!

Daddy and Uncle Travis spinning Emerson in Jenn's "decorative" boxes.

Reading 'Twas the Night Before Christmas and holding a flashlight saying "Twinkle Twinkle"

Christmas with Nana

Don't tell daddy...but Emerson loves Irene's cheese triangles as much as he does. Look out Irene!!

Stockings are the best at Nana's....

Emerson's new smock made by Nana (to go with her new easel she gets later)

Emerson's look-a-like Cabbage Patch Kid doll. Can you believe they are 25 years old...I remember getting mine for Christmas. After mom stood in line for HOURS for it! Thanks to Deb, Gary, Meghan and Travis for her new "dolly".

Lots of Christmas to celebrate....

Wearing "mommy's hat"...she also love to wear "mommy's gub" (aka gloves)

Our annual dinner at Szmania's in Magnolia...they serve German food. Which was ironic because Greg returned from Germany just 2 days earlier where they served him pizza and Greek food. So he was in desperate need of some good schnitzel and spatzle.

Emerson in front of Nana's always amazing Christmas tree.

Opening a few gifts before we head to PortlandThank you to Auntie Jamie, Uncle Jeff, Jordan and Ariana....she loved her new "stories".

Why recycle and empty wine bottle when you can use it as a measuring device. It was buried before the end of the day....

Snow day

We had to get pretty creative being snowed in all weekend. So you do a lot of eating...and baking!

Our matching aprons....made by the greatest Nana EVER!!!

Emerson was exhausted after all her "hard" work!!

We miss you Daddy!

Daddy is in Germany missing all the snow!!

Baby Plays

So if I haven't mentioned it yet....we LOVE BabyPlays.com It's basically Netflix only baby toys. You get a chosen number of toys a month and then you return them for another box of toys.
Today we received our toy box and Emerson was just hilarious "jammin" on her guitar.

Of course...why play with all your new toys when you can just put the dog's toy in your mouth?
